200 grams mixed Berry (bromine and blueberries)
80 grams sugar
2 Tbsps lemon juice
4 eggs
400 grams Quark
1 Vanilla bean (seeds)
2 Tbsps Pastry flour
1 pinch salt
50 grams slivered almonds
powdered sugar (for dusting)

Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F).

Peel, halve and cut out the core of the apples. Place apples with the cut side up in a buttered baking dish. Rinse the berries, remove stems and pat dry. Mix with 2 tablespoons of sugar and the lemon juice and add in the apples.

Separate the eggs. Stir the egg yolks with the remaining sugar until creamy, stir in the flour, stir the quark and the vanilla seeds until smooth. Beat the egg whites with the salt until stiff and fold into the quark cream. Pour over the apples, smooth out, sprinkle with almonds and bake until golden brown for about 30 minutes in the oven.

Remove from oven, place on a plate and serve dusted with powdered sugar.
