4 Tbsps olive oil
1 garlic clove

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse the artichokes and place in a pot. Cover with salted water and add a lemon half. Simmer for 15 minutes. Drain the artichokes.

Heat the oil in a skillet. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Add the garlic to the skillet until fragrant. Season the artichokes with salt and pepper to taste. Add to the skillet and sear on all sides until golden. Stir in the chopped parsley. Serve drizzled with the juice of the remaining lemon half.
