1 tsp sugar
100 grams butter
4 Slices of toast
100 grams Bacon
1 bunch scallions
2 Tbsps breadcrumbs

Preparation steps

1.

Peel the asparagus, cut off the tough ends and put into boiling water. Add the sugar and 1 teaspoon of butter and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes.

Cut the crust off the toast and cube the toast. Finely dice the bacon. Rinse the scallions and cut into thin rings.

3.

Heat the remaining butter and fry the bacon and bread cubes. Add the scallions and fry over low heat. Add the breadcrumbs and cook briefly. Season with salt and pepper. Drain the asparagus and serve with the bacon sauce.
