Assorted Fruit Lassi
Ingredients
- For each of the 5 Lassi varieties respectively:
- 300 grams Yogurt
- 500 milliliters water
- 3 Tbsps lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp sugar (not for avocado lassi)
- Also:
- 1 ripe Mango
- 100 grams ripe Strawberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1 ripe Papaya
- 100 grams mixed Wild berry ((fresh or frozen)
- 1 ripe Avocado
- freshly ground peppers
- salt
- Chili powder
Preparation steps
For the mango lassi: Peel the mango, remove the pit and dice the flesh. In a blender, puree the mango with yogurt, water, lemon juice and sugar. Serve very cold.
For the strawberry lassi: Rinse and hull the strawberries (or thaw) and halve. Puree the strawberries with yogurt, water, lemon juice and sugar. Serve very cold.
For the papaya lassi: Peel the papaya, scoopp out and discard the seeds, Cut the flesh into cubes. Puree with yogurt, water, lemon juice and sugar. Serve cold.
For the berry lassi: Rinse or thaw berries and puree with yogurt, water, lemon juice and sugar. Serve cold.
For the avocado lassi: Peel the avocado, remove the pit and dice. Puree with yogurt, water and lemon juice. Season with salt, pepper and some chile. Serve very cold.
