250 milliliters Buttermilk (with flakes of butter)
100 milliliters milk
1 fully ripe Avocado
1 Lime
1 Tbsp Apple syrup
1 generous pinch Horseradish (jarred)
salt
freshly ground peppers

Preparation steps

1.

Halve the lime, then cut a thin slice from each half. Squeeze the juice from the remaining lime. 

2.

Halve the avocado, remove the seed, and scoop out the pulp with a spoon. 

3.

Puree the avocado with the horseradish, milk, lime juice, and apple juice in the blender. Stir in the buttermilk and season to taste with salt. Pour the shake into glasses, and garnish the glasses with the thinly sliced lime. Garnish with freshly cracked black pepper and serve with fresh pumpernickel bread.
