- 400 grams Smoked bacon
- 750 grams green Beans
- 1 sprig Savory
- 8 small Cooking pear
- 400 grams waxy potatoes
- ½ bunch parsley (approx 20 g)
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
Preparation steps

Simmer bacon in 1/2 l (approximately 2 cups) water over low heat, covered, about 20 minutes.

Rinse green beans, trim ends and cut in half. Rinse and peel potatoes and cut into bite-size pieces.

Add beans, potatoes and savory to bacon and simmer about 15 more minutes. Rinse pears, add to stew and simmer until pears are soft, about 10-15 minutes. Remove bacon from stew and coarsely chop. Season stew with salt and pepper. Mix bacon back into stew. Rinse and chop parsley and sprinkle over stew to serve.
