600 grams Bacon
2 liters water
200 grams green Beans
3 carrots
4 potatoes (predominantly waxy)
1 sour Apple
1 Pear
2 Tbsps lemon juice

Preparation steps

1.

Soak the white beans overnight.

2.

Then mix the beans with the bacon in the water, cover and simmer for about 30 minutes.

3.

Rinse the green beans, trim, cut off the ends and cut into small pieces.

4.

Peel the potatoes and carrots, rinse and dice into small pieces.

5.

Then add the vegetables to the stew and cook for another 30 minutes.

6.

Peel the pear and the apple and cut into quarters, cut out the cores, cut into wedges and immediately sprinkle with lemon juice. Add to the stew 10 minutes before the end of cooking.

7.

To serve, cut the bacon into slices and serve sprinkled with parsley.
