3 red paprika
3 yellow paprika

Preparation steps

Finely shred whole grain crackers in a food processor. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Coat each chicken breast in succession with flour, whisked egg and cracker crumbs. Heat oil in a pan and fry breaded chicken breasts on each side for about 5 minutes until golden brown.

Peel onion and finely chop. Rinse bell peppers, trim, cut in half, remove seeds and coarsely chop. Heat olive oil in a pan and fry onions until soft. Add bell peppers to the pan, fry briefly and season with salt, pepper, paprika and thyme. Cook briefly. To serve, arrange bell peppers on plates and place chicken breasts on top.
