350 grams button Mushroom
2 Tbsps olive oil
1 garlic clove
2 tsps thyme
salt
freshly ground peppers
3 Tbsps chopped Walnut
8 slices Whole Wheat Toast
2 Tbsps butter
100 grams Gruyere (sliced)

Preparation steps

1.

Trim mushrooms and cut into thin slices. Heat oil in a pan and fry mushroom for about 3 minutes. Peel garlic and squeeze through a press. Add garlic to the pan and season with 1 teaspoon thyme, salt and pepper. Add nuts and stir.

Brush toast with butter and place on a baking sheet. Spread mushroom mixture on it. Cut cheese into strips and place on mushrooms. Bake in a preheated 180°C (approximately 350°F) oven for about 10 minutes until heese is melted. Sprinkle with thyme and serve.
