Nutritional values
Fresh fruit added to the Christmas flavored yogurt makes it a light and healthy dessert. Walnuts give a special kick and provide valuable, unsaturated fatty acids.
For the best taste for the yogurt, use real, organic Ceylon cinnamon. It not only tastes more intense than the simple variety, but is also guaranteed to be free of harmful substances.

Preparation steps
Coarsely chop walnuts and toast in a dry pan until golden brown. Place on a small plate and let cool.
Meanwhile, cut out 4 pieces of parchment paper (each approximately 14 x 12 inches) and place next to each other on a work surface. Rinse pears, peel, halve, and remove seeds.
Squeeze juice from the lime. Mix juice in a small bowl with 1 tablespoon maple syrup and walnuts.
Put 2 pear halves in the center of each parchment sheet and drizzle with walnut mixture.
Tie parchment sheets at both ends with kitchen twine (like candy). Bake on the middle rack of a preheated oven at 400°F until pears are tender, about 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, mix yogurt with cinnamon and sweetener to taste until smooth in a small bowl.
Remove pear packets from oven, place on a plate and open carefully. Drizzle pears with remaining syrup and serve immediately with the yogurt.
