Preparation steps

1.

Peel bananas. Cut some slices and cut remaining into small cubes. Sprinkle banana with lime juice and set aside. 

2.

Cut figs in half and remove pulp. Slice vanilla beans in half lengthwise and scrape out seeds with a knife. Puree fig pulp, banana cubes, vanilla seeds, cinnamon and buttermilk in a blender and then stir in mineral water.

3.

Pour banana fig smoothie into large cups or glasses and serve garnished with banana slices.
