Ingredients

4
- Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 100 grams Feta
- 100 grams Olives (black and green; pitted)
- 750 grams ground pork
- 1 egg
- ½ tsp ground paprika (sweet)
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 4 Tbsps olive oil
Preparation steps
1.
Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Sauté in butter in a pan until translucent and set aside. Cut feta cheese into cubes. Chop olives and mix with the cheese. Using your hands, gently mix ground beef, egg, paprika and oregano with sautéed onion and garlic. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
2.
With moistened hands, shape ground beef into 8 patties, pressing a spoonful of the olive-feta mixture into the center and enclosing with beef. Seal patties by pressing edges together. Brush burgers with olive oil and cook on a hot grill for 10-15 minutes, flipping the burgers over at the halfway mark. Serve over a bed of lettuce or on a toasted hamburger bun.
