2 tsps lemon juice
200 grams Beets (pre-cooked and vacuum-packed)
200 grams Ricotta cheese

Preparation steps

1.

Toast sunflower seeds in a dry skillet until they start to have an aroma. Then remove from heat and let cool.

Rinse apples, quarter and core and reserve half (sprinkle cut surface with lemon juice). Grate beet and apple with a coarse vegetable grater into a bowl. Mix vegetables and sunflower seeds with ricotta in a bowl and season with salt, pepper and lemon juice.

3.

To serve, spread ricotta mixture on crackers. Cut or slice remaining apple into thin sticks, mix with remaining lemon juice and place on top of ricotta spread. Serve immediately.
