12 slices ham (or bacon)
6 green Olives (pitted and halved)
l white wine
l Vegetable broth
1 Tbsp butter
salt
freshly ground peppers
freshly grated Nutmeg
fresh, chopped thyme
12 Toothpicks

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse and dry leeks. Cut into oblique, bite-sized pieces and wrap with ham. Secure with a toothpick.

2.

Heat butter in a pan and brown the leek wraps on all sides. Deglaze with white wine and broth. Add thyme, cover and simmer for 10 minutes. 

3.

Remove wraps from heat. Garnish by adding an olive to the toothpick and serve.
