- 600 grams Broccoli
- 2 shallots
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 chili pepper
- 3 Tbsps butter
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
Preparation steps
1.
Rinse and trim the broccoli, and cut into florets. Peel the shallots and finely chop. Rinse, trim, and cut the chile pepper into thin slices.

Saute the shallots in hot butter, add in the pressed garlic, broccoli and chile pepper, and cook for about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Then transfer the broccoli mixture into a buttered baking dish.

Mix the eggs with cream and nutmeg, season with salt and pepper, and pour over the broccoli. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (fan: 180°C, gas mark 3) (approximately 400°F) for 35 minutes.
5.
Toast the flaked almonds in a hot dry pan.
6.
Serve the broccoli pie sprinkled with toasted flaked almonds.
