- Ingredients
- 4 Buffalo steaks (about 300 grams or approximately 11 ounces)
- 30 grams ginger
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 scallions
- 4 Tbsps sesame oil
- 4 Tbsps Teriyaki sauce
- 50 milliliters Beef broth
- freshly ground peppers
- salt
Preparation steps
1.
Rinse the buffalo steaks, pat dry and place in a bowl or baking dish. Peel the ginger and garlic. Grate the ginger finely, and press the garlic. Rinse the scallions and cut into thin rings. Heat the oil with the teriyaki sauce and broth. Sauté the ginger, garlic and scallions. Season with pepper and stir. Pour the sauce over the steaks, cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
2.
Remove the steaks from the bowl and set the marinade aside. Sear the steaks on the grill for about 2 minutes on each side over high heat. Then place under the broiler for another 4-6 minutes depending on the desired degree of doneness. Season with salt and pepper.
3.
Slice the meat and serve with the marinade.
