Preparation steps

Rinse tomatoes and remove the stems. Cut the tomatoes crosswise into slices. Drain mozzarella and also cut into slices.

Alternately layer the tomato and mozzarella slices on four large plates like roof tiles. Season lightly with salt and pepper and drizzle oil evenly over everything.
3.
Pluck the basil leaves (don't rinse) and bruise. Sprinkle the salad with it and serve immediately.
