6 Russet apples (peeled)
100 milliliters Apple juice
sugar (to taste)
cinnamon

350 grams macaroni
200 grams Apple (coarsely grated)
2 Tbsps butter
1 onion
2 Tbsps chopped parsley
200 grams Whipped cream
salt
freshly ground peppers

Preparation steps

1.

For the applesauce: Quarter apples and remove cores. Coarsely chop and combine with apple juice in a saucepan. Simmer over low heat until apples begin to fall apart. Sweeten with sugar and season with cinnamon to taste. Let cool.

Peel and dice onion.

Cook elbow pasta in plenty of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain well.

4.

In a preheated bowl, arrange pasta and grated cheese in layers.

5.

Cook onion in butter, stir in cream and season with salt and pepper. Stir in parsley and spread over pasta.

6.

Serve pasta with applesauce on the side.
