1 ½ cups Long grain rice
2 Zucchini (thinly sliced)
1 Kohlrabi (peeled and thinly sliced)
2 carrots (thinly sliced)
6 eggs
cup milk
cup cream (at least 30% fat)
1 ½ cups grated Gouda
1 cup grated Emmentaler cheese
1 cup ham (diced)
Fat (to grease the dish)
3 Tbsps Chives

Preparation steps

1.
Heat the oven to 200°C (180°C in a fan oven), 400°F, gas 6 and grease a baking dish.

Cook the rice in boiling salt water for 10 min.
3.
Season the vegetables with salt and ground black pepper.
4.
Mix together the eggs, milk and the cream, season with salt and ground black pepper and pour in the prepared baking dish. Add the rice, half the cheese and the ham. Season with salt and ground black pepper and mix well. Stir in the vegetables and sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Bake for around 30 min and serve sprinkled with chives.
