- 750 grams Cherries
- room temperature butter (for the baking dish)
- 100 grams Dark chocolate
- 6 eggs
- 70 grams sugar
- 1 Vanilla bean (seeds)
- 100 grams Pastry flour
- 70 grams ground almonds
- 3 Tbsps cocoa powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 200 grams Quark
- 150 milliliters Whipped cream
Preparation steps

Rinse and pit cherries. Let drain. Toss cherries with 1-2 tablespoons flour.

Preheat oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F). Butter an ovenproof baking dish.

Chop chocolate into small pieces. Beat eggs with sugar and vanilla bean seeds until fluffy. Whisk together flour with almonds, cocoa, salt and baking powder. Stir flour mixture, quark, chocolate and cream into the egg and sugar mixture until
