- 12 ozs Dark chocolate (60% cocoa solids)
- ⅔ cup cream (48% fat)
- 0.333 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- To serve
- Banana (cut into chunks)
- Strawberries (halved)
- Marshmallow
Product recommendation
Variation: use 2 tablespoons orange juice instead of vanilla extract.
Serve with chunks of melon, orange segments, cherries or cubes of sponge cake.
Preparation steps
1.
Put all the ingredients into a pan and heat very gently until the chocolate and sugar have melted. Stir gently until smooth.
2.
Pour into a chocolate fondue pot and keep warm over the burner. Serve with the bananas, strawberries and marshmallows speared on fondue forks.
