Ingredients
for
6
- Ingredients
- 300 grams Pastry flour
- 1 pinch salt
- olive oil (for frying)
- powdered sugar (for dusting)
Preparation steps
1.
Bring 500 ml of salted water to a boil in a saucepan (approximately 2 cups).
2.
Remove from the heat and sift the flour into it. Process with the dough hook of the hand mixer until a thick paste is formed. The batter is ready when it easily comes away from the bottom of the pan. Cover and leave to rest for about 10 minutes.
3.
Heat the olive oil in a pot.
Pour the batter into a piping bag and pipe out portions into the oil. Fry until golden brown.
4.
Lift out with a slotted spoon and drain on absorbent paper. Repeat the process for the remaining batter.
5.
Dust the finished churros with powdered sugar before serving.
