- 3 Tbsps vegetable oil
- 5.333 cups braising Beef (cut into bite size pieces)
- 5 cups onions (chopped)
- 1 carrot (diced)
- 4 Tbsps paprika (sweet)
- 1 tsp ground Caraway
- 1 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 cups Beef stock
- 2 Tbsps Tomato paste
- 12 small, new potatoes (scrubbed clean)
- salt
- freshly ground peppers

1 Measuring cups, 1 Cutting board, 1 Large knife, 1 Small knife, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Teaspoon, 1 Peeler, 1 Immersion blender, 1 deep bowl, 1 Citrus juicer
Preparation steps
1.
Heat the oil in a large pan and brown the beef on all sides. Set aside.
2.
Add the onions and carrots to the pan and cook until tender.
3.
Add the paprika, caraway and flour, pour in the beef broth and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
4.
Return the beef to the pan, stir in the tomato paste and the potatoes, cover and simmer gently, stirring occasionally, for approximately 1 1/2 hours.
5.
Season to taste with salt and pepper and serve.
