500 grams Apricot (cleaned and weighed)
500 grams red Currants (cleaned and weighed)
1 kilogram jam sugar
juice of lemons

Preparation steps

1.

Mix the apricots, currants, jam sugar, and lemon juice in a large saucepan. Cover, and marinate for 3 hours in order to create some juice.

Rinse the jars and lids in very hot water, then drain thoroughly.

Bring the fruit mixture to a boil, and cook for 4 minutes, stirring constantly. Fill the prepared jars to the brim with the jam, and seal immediately. Turn upside down for 5 minutes, then turn right side up and cool completely.
