Preparation steps

Cube the bread and brown in hot butter. Heat the milk slightly and stir in the yeast. Make a well in the flour and add yeast and milk. Knead together and let rest about 15 minutes. Beat the eggs and knead into the dough with a little salt and the parsley. Covere and let rest in a warm place about 30 minutes.

Shape the dough into a sausage roll and wrap in a buttered, wet napkin or paper towel. Bind the ends together and boil in salted water about 40-45 minutes, until done. Unwrap the dumplings, cut into slices and serve immediately.
