10 kaiser rolls (from the day before)
salt
¼ l milk
1 Tbsp butter
1 small onion
2 Tbsps parsley
4 eggs

Preparation steps

Cut the rolls into slices and put into a bowl with the salt. Heat the milk slightly and pour over the bread slices.

Peel the onion and chop finely. Heat the butter in a pan. Sauté the onion and parsley. Add this to the rolls. Add the eggs and mix together thoroughly. Let rest 10 minutes.

In a saucepan, heat salted water. Form the dough with your hands into dumplings, add them gently to the water and let simmer about 20 minutes until done. Remove from the water and serve in a bowl.
