Preparation steps

1.

Boil 5 eggs for 5 minutes, add coloring, then apply oil.

2.

Put flour into a bowl and create a well in the center. Add yeast with and 6 tablespoons lukewarm water. Sprinkle with flour, cover and allow to rise for 30 minutes in a warm place. Melt butter. Add sugar and three eggs to flour mixture, knead vigorously. Knead in orange peel and aniseed. Shape into a ball and let rise, covered, for 1 hour. Grease a baking sheet and knead dough on a floured surface. Take 1/3 of dough and form into a loaf, about 30 cm (approximately 12 inches) long and place on the baking sheet. Divide remaining dough into 4 strands, the length of the loaf. Twist two strands together, forming a twist for each side of the loaf. Press twists onto sides of loaf. Mix egg yolk with 1 tablespoon water and generously brush loaf and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Let rest 15 minutes. Press eggs into loaf, as desired. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C (approximately 350°F) for about 35 minutes. Remove, allow to cool and serve.
