Ingredients
34 ozs Grapefruit juice (100% fruit juice, freshly squeezed)
2 Tbsps lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
18 ozs jam sugar (2:1 ratio)
3 Tbsps Whiskey (to taste, optional)

Preparation steps

1.

Put the grapefruit and lemon juice in a large saucepan, then mix in the jam sugar. Bring to a boil, and cook for 4 minutes until the jam has thickened. Divide jam among jars and let cool before refrigerating, covered, for up to 3 weeks.

Tip: To preserve the jam/sauce for longer, you will need to process the jars according to the manufacturer's instructions.

2.

If desired, after rinsing the jars, you can add the whiskey and swirl to coat, allowing extra to pool at the bottom.
