1 garlic clove
½ lemon (juiced)
4 Tbsps olive oil
1 pinch Cumin
1 pinch cayenne pepper
salt
2 tsps fennel seeds

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse the fish inside and out, and pat dry. Rinse and dry the cilantro, remove the leaves, and place in a mortar. Peel and halve the garlic, then add to the mortar. 

2.

Add some of the lemon juice and oil to the mortar, and finely grind. Season the mixture with the remaining lemon juice, cumin, cayenne pepper, and salt. 

3.

Mix in the fennel seeds, then coat the fish with the seasoning. Place on a hot grill, and cook for 6-10 minutes per side.
