1 onion
1 garlic clove
1 carrot
1 egg
½ organic lemon (zested)
1 Tbsp freshly chopped parsley
1 tsp dried oregano
breadcrumbs (as needed)

Preparation steps

Place the ground lamb in a bowl. Peel the onion and garlic and finely chop. Peel the carrot and finely grate. Mix into the meat along with the onion, garlic, egg, lemon zest, parsley and oregano. If necessary, add breadcrumbs so that the mixture is easily malleable. Season with salt and pepper and then form into 8-12 meatballs.

Grill the meatballs on an oiled grill for 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally.
