Nutritional values

Pineapple gets a delicious aroma on the grill and is a smart dessert with lots of vitamin C. This makes the exotic fruit a cell protector and metabolism pusher.

Some people do not tolerate pineapple well - if that's you try switching to fresh halved peaches.

Preparation steps

1.

Crush allspice in a mortar and mix with coconut flakes. Toast allspice-coconut shavings mixture in a frying pan over medium heat without fat. Transfer to a plate and let cool.

2.

Wash the mint, shake dry, pluck off the leaves, chop finely and add to the coconut mixture.

3.

Peel the pineapple, cut it into quarters and cut out the hard middle core. Cut pineapple quarters into 1-inch thick pieces, put on skewers, and brush with a little honey. Grill the pineapple skewers on the preheated grill for 2-3 minutes on each side. Alternately, use a stovetop grill pan or broil on low.

4.

Meanwhile, clean, wash and halve strawberries. Place pineapple slices and strawberries on a plate and sprinkle with mint coconut shavings.
