4 Tbsps Ketchup

Preparation steps

1.

Peel onion and cut half of it into thin slices. Separate into rings and set aside. Finely chop remaining half of onion. Finely dice pickle and combine with chopped onion and ground beef. Season with salt and pepper. Knead to combine and form mixture into 4 patties. In a hot pan, fry patties in oil, about 4 minutes per side.

Rinse lettuce and shake dry. Rinse, remove cores and cut tomatoes into slices. Halve buns and toast as desired.

Spread bottom halves of buns with mustard and layer with lettuce, tomato slices and some of the onion rings. Place burgers on top and season with ketchup. Top with remaining onion rings and place top halves on buns on burgers.
