Nutritional values
Hazlenuts are high in unsaturated fats, magnesium, calcium and vitamins B and E. They are good for your heart, can help reduce the risk of cancer, and contribute to muscle, skin, bone, joint and digestive health, so eat up!
A little bit of orange zest would add a lot of flavor to this recipe. Additionally, you could always substitute other nuts for additional benefits or if you have a hazelnut allergy!

Preparation steps
Pour honey into a saucepan and heat on low heat for 2-3 minutes. Add hazelnuts and thyme and simmer for another 20-25 minutes. Place a drop of hot honey nut mixture into a glass of ice-cold water. If drop freezes immediately, brittle is ready.
Spread baking sheet approximately 8 x 10 inches lined with parchment paper. Spread honey and hazelnut mixture on paper and smooth. Cool and separate from paper. Cut into cubes and serve placed into paper candy liners.
