2 shallots
1 Tbsp butter
125 milliliters white wine
500 milliliters Vegetable broth
light sauce thickener
3 Tbsps Crème fraiche
3 Tbsps finely chopped Fresh herbs (such as chervil, chives, parsley)

1 untreated Lemon peel (Fine stripes)

Preparation steps

1.

Peel shallots, chop finely and saute in hot butter in a saucepan until translucent. Add wine and broth and boil on high heat for 5 minutes to reduce liquids. Add cornstarch to thicken if desired. 

2.

Stir herbs and creme fraiche into the sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Serve garnished with lemon zest.
