- 600 grams Ground beef (or lamb, or any combination)
- 1 Tbsp finely chopped mint
- 2 shallots (finely chopped)
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp ground paprika
- 1 tsp grated Lemon peel
- 1 generous pinch Ground clove
- 2 Tbsps breadcrumbs
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 3 Tbsps olive oil
Preparation steps
1.
Mix the ground beef, shallots, mint, egg, lemon zest, breadcrumbs, paprika, cloves, season salt and pepper and knead until thoroughly combined.

Shape the mixture around wooden skewers. Brush with oil and place on a hot grill (or grill pan) and cook 6-8 minutes on all sides, turning occasionallly.
3.
Serve with a salad, if desired.
