- For the syrup
- 200 grams sugar
- 150 milliliters lemon juice
- 1 whole lemon (zested)
- 4 mint
- To serve
- cold mineral water (or sparkling wine)
- Ice cubes
Preparation steps

Combine the sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest and mint in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat, remove the mint and simmer for 10 minutes. Strain the syrup through a fine mesh sieve and refrigerate overnight.
2.
To serve, add 1 tablespoon of lemon syrup to a glass and top with mineral water or sparkling wine. Add ice cubes and serve.
