Nutritional values

The poppy seeds contained in Lithuanian Christmas cookies are rich in magnesium, iron, and phosphorus and keep the heart, brain, and muscles fit.

For more fiber, vitamins and minerals in the dough, you can use spelt flour with a higher type number or whole spelt flour. If necessary, you may then need to slightly increase the amount of milk.
