Nutritional values
Potatoes contain complex carbohydrates that ensure long-lasting satiety. Milk and turkey bacon in potato endive mashed potatoes provide muscle-strengthening protein, which can also be processed in the body in many other ways as a building material.
Vegetarian is also possible: For a spicy and hearty flavour in the potato endive masher, you can also sauté onion rings and thus do without the bacon.

Preparation steps
Peel and rinse the potatoes. Cut into small pieces and cook in boiling salted water for about 20 minutes.
Rinse and dry the endive, then cut into thin strips.
Finely dice the bacon until crispy, then remove half. Place the endive with the remaining bacon and sauté.
Heat the cream with the butter.
Drain the potatoes and let dry, then add back to the pot. Add the cream mixture, then mash with a potato masher until smooth. Add the endive and bacon, then season to taste with salt and pepper.
Serve garnished with remaining bacon.
