- Ingredients
- ½ Watermelon
- 1 sweet muskmelon
- 250 grams green Grape
- 250 grams purple Grape
- 500 Apricot
- 4 fresh Figs
- 250 milliliters fresh pressed Orange juice (from 3-4 oranges)
- 2 tsps grated Orange peel
- 2 centiliters Orange liqueur
- 100 grams sugar
- 4 Tbsps lemon juice
Preparation steps
Halve the melon and remove the seeds. Remove the fruit and chop into pieces. Remove the seeds from the watermelon, and scoop out the fruit using a melon baller. Cut the remaining fruit from the watermelon and chop into pieces. Refrigerate one half of the hollowed watermelon.
Rinse the grapes, trim, remove from the vine, and pat dry. Rinse the apricots, halve, remove the seeds, and cut into wedges. Rine the figs and cut into eighths.
Bring the orange juice, liqueur, lemon juice, and sugar to boil in a pot. Boil for 2 minutes, then remove from the heat and let cool.
Mix the prepared fruit with the orange syrup. Add to the hollowed watermelon half, cover, and chill for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
Serve the fruit salad on a bed on crushed ice in a large bowl.
