1 ½ liters Beef broth (jarred)

Preparation steps

Dice bacon. Rinse and finely chop vegetables. Heat oil in a large saucepan. Peel and finely chop onion and garlic. Fry bacon in oil, add onions, garlic and vegetables and sauté everything for 10 minutes.

Pour in broth, season with salt and pepper, cover and simmer for 20 minutes over low heat. Add rotini and let simmer for 15 minutes. Rinse and chop half parsley and basil and add to broth. Add remaining herbs before serving, season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with Parmesan.
