- 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil (plus a little extra to toss mozzarella)
- freshly ground Black pepper (to taste)
- kosher salt (to taste)
- 48 baby Bocconcini (mozzarella balls)
- 48 cherry Tomatoes (rinsed)
- 48 fresh Basil

Preparation steps
1.
Whisk the vinegar, 1 tablespoon olive oil, pepper, and salt in a small bowl. Set aside.
2.
Toss mozzarella with the remaining olive oil and pepper (if desired). Season with salt if necessary, depending on the mozzarella.
3.
To assemble slide mozzarella onto a skewer, followed by a basil leaf - fold in half if necessary. Add a cherry tomato; followed by another piece of mozzarella. Allow two tomatoes and two mozzarella balls per skewer. Repeat until all ingredients have been used.
4.
Place skewers on a platter or in a glass. drizzle with balsamic vinegar mixture. Serve immediately.
