- 18 ozs Spaghetti
- 3 cloves garlic cloves (thinly sliced)
- 1 handful Basil leaves sliced (reserve a few whole leaves)
- 1 red chili pepper (sliced into rings)
- ⅜ cup olive oil
- ¾ cup fresh Parmesan (grated)
Preparation steps
1.
Cook the spaghetti in plenty of boiling salted water until al dente.
2.
Mix the garlic, sliced basil leaves and chilli with the oil.
3.
Drain the pasta. Pour over the oil and herbs, mixing well. Arrange in deep bowls and garnish with Parmesan and basil leaves to serve.
