400 grams Farfalle
1 can Tuna (150 grams)
1 onion
2 garlic cloves
1 Tbsp finely chopped parsley
1 Tbsp finely chopped Basil
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 sm can peeled Tomatoes
1 can thick white Beans (250 grams drained)
salt
freshly ground peppers
1 dried chili pepper (as desired)
parsley (for garnish)

Preparation steps

1.

Cook pasta in plenty of boiling salted water until al dente.

Break apart tuna with 2 forks. Peel and chop the onion and garlic.

Drain beans.

Heat oil in a pot. Cook onion and garlic while stirring. Add tomatoes, including juice, and crush tomatoes with a potato masher. Add herbs and beans and season with salt, pepper and crumbled chile pepper. Simmer 10 minutes, add the tuna, let heat through and season to taste.

5.

Drain the pasta and arrange on a warm plate. Top with tuna sauce and serve garnished with parsley leaves immediately.
