125 grams soft butter
125 grams sugar
2 eggs
250 grams Pastry flour
1 generous pinch Baking powder
100 grams Marzipan

Preparation steps

Finely chop the raisins, chocolate pieces and half the peanuts. Beat the butter with the sugar until fluffy. Gradually add the eggs, flour and baking powder and mix well with a whisk. Fold in the chocolate-nut mixture.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. With two teaspoons, form the mixture into balls. Roll them in the remaining peanuts and place on the baking sheet.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (approximately 350ºF) for 15 minutes until golden brown.

Roll out the marzipan and cut out small stars.

Serve the peanut balls garnished with marzipan stars.
