125 grams Dark chocolate
250 grams butter
220 grams sugar
4 eggs
1 pinch salt
350 grams Pastry flour
100 grams ground almonds
2 Tbsps cocoa powder
1 packet Baking powder
180 milliliters milk
5 Pear
2 Tbsps lemon juice

breadcrumbs (for dusting)

Preparation steps

1.

Preheat the oven to 190°C (approximately 375°F).

Coarsely chop chocolate and melt over a double boiler. Remove from heat and let cool.

Beat butter and sugar until creamy and mix in eggs and a pinch of salt. Gradually add chocolate. Combine flour with almonds, cocoa and baking powder. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk to butter mixture.

Peel quarter and core pears. Cut into narrow columns. Mix with lemon juice.

Grease a springform pan with butter and dust with breadcrumbs. Pour half of the batter into the pan and spread evenly. Add half of the pear slices, pour in remaining batter, spread and top with remaining pear slices. Bake for about 50 minutes.

6.

Remove cake from oven and let cool. Release from pan, let cool completely, slice and serve.
