Preparation steps

1.

Cook pasta in plenty of boiling salted water until al dente. Rinse bell peppers, halve and remove seeds and ribs, cut into cubes.

2.

Peel onions and garlic and chop finely. Heat butter in a pan and saute onions and garlic for a few minutes. Add chile paste and saute briefly. Add tomatoes and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes, add cream and sour cream. Season with paprika.

3.

Drain pasta and mix with diced peppers, half of tomato sauce and  cheese. Arrange everything in a baking dish. Rinse and shake dry basil, cut 6-8 leaves into thin strips and sprinkle on gratin.

4.

Drain tuna and separate with a fork. Spread over basil and spread remaining sauce on top. Sprinkle with cheese and bake in preheated oven at 200°C (approximately 400°F) for about 30 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining basil and serve.
