Preparation steps

Pour the quark onto a cotton cloth and squeeze it well. Stir in the chives and spices until smooth.

Cut the bell peppers in half lengthwise, remove the seeds, the stalk and the ribs. Rinse and pat dry.

Spread the quark smoothly on the halves of pepper. Cut the pepper halves carefully in half again and transfer to plates. Slice the cheese diagonally and attach each triangle to the pepper pieces with a wooden skewer (as a boat sail).

Suggestion; goes well with wholemeal bread or pumpernickel.
