500 grams onions
400 grams raisins
350 milliliters good-quality White vinegar
250 cane sugar
1 Tbsp salt
1 tsp ground allspice
2 tsps ground ginger
½ tsp ground cloves

Preparation steps

Rinse the plums and pat dry. Cut in half, remove the stones, and finely dice. Peel and quarter the apples. Remove the core, and finely dice. Mix the apples and plums in a saucepan. Peel and finely dice the onions. Add the onions, raisins, vinegar, sugar, and spices to the saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer for 1 hour.

Fill the prepared jars to the brim with the hot chutney. Seal tightly and turn upside down to cool for 15 minutes. Turn right side up and cool completely.
