4 Pork cutlets (about 120 g each or approximately 1/4 pound)
2 Tbsps vegetable oil

2 green Apple (such as Granny Smith)
30 grams Pistachio
4 Tbsps Calvados
1 Tbsp butter
2 tsps thyme
125 milliliters Apple juice

Preparation steps

1.

Brown pork in hot oil on both sides for about 15 minutes.

2.

Rinse apples, core and cut into wedges. Season pork chops with salt and pepper and remove from pan. Keep warm.

3.

Saute pistachios briefly in the same pan. Deglaze with Calvados and remove pistachios. Add butter to the pan. Saute apples and thyme for 2-3 minutes.

4.

Pour in apple juice, stir in broth and season with salt and pepper. Mix pistachios with apples. Top pork with sauce and serve immediately.
