Preparation steps

1.

Peel the potatoes, rinse and chop. Cook in boiling salted water for about 20 minutes. Drain the potatoes and press through a ricer.

Heat the milk or cream with 1/3 cup milk and whisk into the potato mixture. Beat until smooth and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.

Brush the chops with oil and season with salt and pepper. Cook on a hot grill on each side for about 4-5 minutes. Brush again with the oil.

4.

Serve the pork chops with mashed potatoes on a plate and serve garnished with rosemary and thyme.
